Inside Vogue and Spencer's Journey: Selling Their Luxury Apartment and Unveiling Their Forever Home

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have successfully completed the sale of their luxurious £4.25 million apartment in Battersea, having found their dream ‘forever' home in London, signalling a new chapter in their lives.

After initially listing their high-end apartment on the market two years ago, the couple had to adjust the price downwards by £1 million to attract a buyer. Vogue shared the news of the sale and the purchase of their new family home in a recent episode of her YouTube vlog, sparking excitement among her followers.

The new acquisition, described by Vogue as their “forever” home, was purchased back in June, but the family anticipates a move-in date at least 18 months away due to planned comprehensive renovations. Despite remaining tight-lipped on the exact location, Vogue hinted that it isn't far from their former Battersea residence. Currently, the family of five is residing in a rented property in the vicinity to ensure minimal disruption to their children's schooling.

Reflecting on the sale of their Battersea apartment, Vogue shared with her viewers, “It's the end of an era. That apartment saw all our children come into the world, making it a significant chapter in our lives.” She expressed a bittersweet sentiment towards leaving but remains optimistic about the future in their new home. “This house isn't just another house; it's where we envision our children growing up. It's our dream home here, much like the one I cherish back in Ireland,” she added.

Vogue's expertise in quantity surveying has proven beneficial in the planning and budgeting phases of their house renovation, ensuring they stay within financial boundaries without compromising on their vision of a dream home. The renovation promises to retain the original character of the property, featuring period-detailing like fireplaces, cornicing, and ceiling roses, alongside a spacious garden planned for their children's outdoor activities.

Previously, in a bid to find a buyer for their Battersea flat, the couple had reduced the property's asking price by £450,000 in April, leading to a total reduction of £1 million from the initial listing price. The couple's journey from purchasing the flat early in their relationship, through extending and renovating it to accommodate their family’s needs, to eventually selling it, marks the end of an era. Vogue and Spencer, who tied the knot in 2018, also own a property in Howth, Dublin, securing their ties to Vogue's Irish roots, despite their primary residence being in London due to work commitments.
