(qlmbusinessnews.com Tues, 28th Nov, 2023) London, UK —

The highly acclaimed business reality show, “The Apprentice,” is set to make a comeback with its 18th series in 2024, as announced by the BBC.

Lord Sugar, aged 76, along with his trusted advisors Baroness Brady, 54, and Tim Campbell, 46, will guide 18 candidates through a series of challenging tasks in their quest for Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment and mentorship.

The series will kick off with the men's and women's teams organising a corporate hospitality challenge in the Scottish Highlands. Their task will involve hosting a luxury away-day for clients, with the threat of being sent home in the loser's black cab looming if unsuccessful.

Success in the initial challenge will lead the candidates to undertake various other tasks, including navigating a virtual escape room, developing children's cereals, engaging in discount buying in Jersey, participating in a tourism challenge in Budapest, and facing the notorious TV shopping channel task.

Every candidate must demonstrate their business prowess to secure the coveted title of Lord Sugar's new partner and emerge as the winner of The Apprentice 2024.

Following each episode, comedian, writer, and actor Tom Allen, aged 40, will return to host “The Apprentice: You're Fired” on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. In this spin-off show, he will analyze and discuss the candidates' progress with business leaders and celebrity fans.

Throughout the competition's history, Lord Sugar has invested £3 million in winning pitches, contributing to the creation of successful businesses.

In the 17th series, boxing gym owner Marnie Swindells emerged as Lord Sugar's business partner, triumphing in an all-female finale against Rochelle Anthony. Swindells, a court advocate and gold medal-winning boxer from London, expressed her gratitude, stating, “What an incredible opportunity and moment for a girl like me to get to a place like this and have become Lord Sugar's business partner.”
