Renaissance of Wealth: How Beyoncé's 2023 World Tour Catapulted Her to Billionaire Status
Beyoncé has been officially declared as a billionaire by Forbes, marking her as the fifth musician ever to enter the global list of highest net worth individuals. The American icon is now part of a prestigious club that includes figures such as her spouse Jay-Z, along with Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen, as listed by the financial publication.
The 44-year-old singer, celebrated as the most awarded artist in Grammy Awards history, has seen her fortune soar thanks to profitable tours and critically acclaimed music releases in the last few years.

Forbes highlighted that Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour in 2023, her first solo tour in almost a decade, grossed an astounding nearly $600 million (£444 million). This significant achievement firmly positions her as one of the top pop music figures worldwide, rivalling the likes of pop star Taylor Swift.
Further solidifying her financial success, Beyoncé produced a concert film for the tour, which she then released directly through a partnership with US cinema chain AMC. This deal allowed her to earn nearly half of the film's global box office earnings, amounting to $44 million (£32 million), the magazine reported.
Her album ‘Cowboy Carter' (2024) not only topped the charts but also clinched the album of the year award at the 2025 Grammy Awards. This came after several past nominations without a win. The associated tour reportedly generated over $400 million (£296 million) in ticket sales and an additional $50 million (£37 million) in merchandise.
The tour was notable for featuring appearances by Jay-Z, two of their three children, and Beyoncé's former Destiny’s Child bandmates.
In the UK, Beyoncé performed six spectacular shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in June, drawing in over 275,000 fans and generating upwards of £45 million.
The stadium's website confirmed that the Cowboy Carter tour broke records for both the most tickets sold and the highest revenue for any artist at the venue.
Forbes also attributes a significant portion of Beyoncé's wealth to her business ventures, launched predominantly during the 2010s. This includes the 2008 establishment of Parkwood Entertainment, a multifaceted management, production, and entertainment company. Despite discontinuing her clothing line, Ivy Park, in 2024, Beyoncé ventured into new business territories recently with the launch of the whiskey brand SirDavis and hair care line Cecred in the same year.
Beyoncé’s commercial endeavours also include earning an estimated $50 million (£37 million) for a Netflix special halftime show and $10 million (£7.4 million) from a series of Levi’s advertisements.
Starting her illustrious career in the '90s with Destiny's Child, alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Beyoncé has since secured six UK number one singles and five UK number one albums, holding the record as both the most awarded and most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
Married to rapper Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) since 2008, they have three children together: Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir.
As of 2025, the world contains over 3,000 billionaires, per Forbes' findings.
