Notices will be displayed in Waitrose stores to inform and guide customers about the recall. Originating from Scotland's scenic Cairngorms national park, the Deeside water is bottled at natural springs, with Waitrose offering these exclusive batches at approximately £1.60 per bottle.
The recall encompasses specific batch codes for both the mineral and sparkling water variants, dated for November and December 2027. These include batch codes NOV 2027 28, DEC 2027 01, DEC 2027 02, DEC 2027 10, DEC 2027 11, and DEC 2027 16 for the mineral water, and DEC 2027 01, DEC 2027 03, DEC 2027 12, DEC 2027 15, and DEC 2027 25 for the sparkling water.
While the exact number of bottles distributed and the proportion impacted by this issue remain undisclosed, customers in possession of bottles from these batches are encouraged to take immediate action.
